Congratulations to Junior Bison 17U player Katreena Bentley on her Canada Junior National Team success!
Katreena Bentley played on the Canadian Junior National team this past July and led the team to their best ever finish at the HP USA International Tournament in Tulsa, OK. The team finished with a bronze medal after losing a heartbreaking 13-15 5th set loss to USA Red in the Semi-Final. Katreena was named to the All Tournament Team.

The University of Manitoba Junior Bison Volleyball Club would like to wish the best of luck to Junior Bison athletes, Ashlyn Carrière (15 years old) and Anna Maidment (14 years old), 2014 and 2015 Manitoba Provincial Beach Volleyball Champions, as they head off to the Volleyball Canada High Performance Beach Volleyball Facility in Toronto in their attempt to qualify for the U17 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships. The qualifying tournament takes place in Toronto on Feb 6&7, 2016. The top two teams qualify for the World Championships in Brazil in July 2016.
Ashlyn and Anna currently play on the 16U Gold and 15U Gold Junior Bison indoor teams and have been members of the Junior Bison program since they were 10 years old. Best of luck, girls!
